Director

ANDY PALMER FFB

Andy has over 30 years experience within the construction industry with both national and regional contractors. In the 8 years prior to forming PINNACLE with Martyn Ward, Andy was Projects Director of a well known Design & Build contractor in South Devon. Using his knowledge gained from practical ‘hands on’ experience he has personally negotiated well over 250 construction and property contracts.

Andy’s core skills are considered to be:
· Considerable local knowledge and reliable contacts throughout the South West

· Site identification and acquisition with integrity and confidentially

· Pragmatic negotiation and co-ordination of the project from inception through construction to completion

· Feasibility and financial appraisals

· Tender documentation and contractual matters, valuations and final accounts

MARTYN WARD

Martyn has been a qualified architect for over 25 years having gained experience with national and regional design practices. In the 6 years prior to forming PINNACLE with Andy Palmer, Martyn was the Design Manager for a well known Design & Build contractor in South Devon. A qualified practising architect under ARCUK, Martyn also has a Master of Philosophy degree for which his thesis was The Cladding of Steel Framed Buildings

Martyn’s core skills are considered to be:
· Professional skill with practical experience gained from both sides of the industry

· Cost effective quality designs coupled with risk assessment, maintenance and whole cost considerations

· Ensuring specifications comply with Local Authority and CONDAM regulations

· On-site supervision and detailed quality control
